Post Partum Depression???

I shouldn't feel this way but i guess this is what i am feeling right now, depression. When i had my eldest child which is my son, i never felt anything then such as this depression that i am dealing this time. I hate it but i don't know what to do either. I worry a lot of things and makes me think that i am worthless and useless. I feel so down that makes me think that i am also helpless. I need to get over this kind of stage and i need comfort from someone i really love, my husband. Too bad he is so far away from me and he couldn't give me the comfort that i need. I easily cry and feel sad for no reason. Is this really normal for a mother who just barely gave birth or what? I don't understand and it is really difficult for me to explain. I am hoping i can get over this depression i am dealing with right now.

Darl, im so sorry, your babygirl didn't make it..She's with the Lord now, an angel. I know He has His reason why.

About post depression, they said it's normal.. always call His name and pray na ma overcome nimo na lalo na now. If i'm in your situation, wala sad ko kabalo pa unsa bation but I know sakit kaau. Even me, after I got and read your message, wala jud ko kalihok, gihilantan tibuok nako lawas for few minutes.

Our deepest sympathy , thoughts and prayers are with you. muah!

That is so normal and you felt it harder because you are far from your husband. It'll fade away soon...just take it easy and go out as much as you can..keep your mind busy with activities that involved with your kids.

hi darls! how r u feeling now? hope to hear from u soon...missed u!

Sometimes you need to have time to look inside yourself and find out why do you feel like that and what causes it. after that then you need to talk it over with the person you trust and start taking one step at a time to overcome those feelings and also it helps if you think all the good things that happen to your life and to think positive and most importantly talk to someone, open up and just talk about it.. hope that you will feel better....

Darlene,I wonder if that happens after a first girl is born. After my daughter was born, I was depress for like a whole week.

All someone has to do is look at me or say one word, and my eyes would water like my favorite pet just died. I have absolutely no control over my emotions. It's like riding in a runaway train and just as fun (not.)

IT went away after a week, but if yours still trouble you, there are other options. Of course, being near your husband would be the best cure of all. I hope you'll all be together soon.

i felt that, too sis a week after i got out of the hospital when i delivered my 3rd baby. i simply focused on something, like playing games in the computer that time. but be careful of relapse, too sis. don't overdo things. ur right u need to have somebody with u to ease whatever ur feeling right now.
